The approach used in this research is qualitative. This research uses classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). Data collection is carried out using observation and documentation methods, data is collected and then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques through the initial elaboration of the research until the end of the treatment given. The studys results during the first treatment process showed a percentage rate of 20%. In cycle II there was an increase with a percentage of 87%. For the activity aspect of pairing numbers on objects from the lowest to the highest numbers, the number in cycle I was as much as 33%, and an increase in cycle II showed a rise to 87%. Based on this data, the indicator of learning success is achieved because it has been at = 70%. |
| The Influence of Plasticine Play to Develop Children Creativity Abilities | Author : Fitriani*, Hayana Hayana, Suryani L., Muqimah Surganingsih | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This research aims to see how playing with plasticine activities improves childrens creative abilities. The research subjects were 15 students of Idhata Pitumpidange Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative approach, non-parametric descriptive statistical data analysis, and data collection instruments with observation sheets. The results of the research analysis have been carried out through several meetings and based on all the discussions and data analysis that have been carried out. It can be concluded that the use of playing plasticine influences increasing the ability of creativity. Playing plasticine activities can improve childrens imagination, with indicators in the research being the skills to make shapes and add other conditions to existing forms. This is shown from the data analysis of Idhata Pitumpidange Kindergarten students in Group B with 15 students. The results of data analysis showed that at the time of the pretest, the creativity ability level was 40.0%, with an average value of 2.23. 90%, and the average value of students is 3.07. |
| Flashcard Media as a Game Tool to Improve Early Childhood Cognitive Abilities | Author : Leni Evi Matondang*, Tri Hastuti, Yuliastanti Rahayu KW, Siti Mustaghfiroh, Lilis Hidayanti | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Improving childrens cognitive abilities using flashcard media by playing is the goal to be achieved in this study. This research is a type of experimental research that uses a quantitative approach. The subjects studied were 13 students of group B. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and collecting documentation of each child as preliminary data for researchers. The results that have been collected are then analyzed in a descriptive quantitative manner. Based on the results that have been studied, it is revealed that in the teaching and learning process, the abilities of students can be assessed so that the results obtained, namely: 1) Flashcard game tools can improve cognitive skills in children, which can be seen from the achievement of all indicators of cognitive ability, namely there is an increase that occurs by two children obtaining Very Good Development (BSB) abilities, and there are ten children with the BSH category (Developing hope). |
| The Relationship of Serial Storytelling Activities in Stimulating Early Reading Ability in Kindergarten | Author : Liswatun Hasanah*, Dian Nita Dwi Puspita, Ida Aminatazzuhriyah, Iftitah Hanif N. | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The purpose of the study was to find out how storytelling activities relate to using series image media in improving initial reading skills. The formulation of the problem stated in this study is the low initial reading ability in children of Al-Karomah Kindergarten PGRI 4 Pujon. The type of research used is quantitative, using a correlation approach. The subject to be studied is a child, which amounts to 15 children. The required data collected through observation sheets, documentation, and data acquisition of relationships of two or more variables will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The coefficient results obtained from the regression test analysis showed that the constant value was 1.975. In contrast, the serialized image storytelling value received a value of 0.902, so the regression model equation above can be described as Y = a + bX or 1.957 + 0.902X. Following the results described, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between serial drawing storytelling activities and childrens initial reading ability. |
| Development of Haber Media Based on Illustrated Number Letters to Early Childhood Cognitive Abilities | Author : Fadhillah Afifah*, Usman Bafadal, Lukman | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study aims to describe the level of needs, determine the design of Haber media development in developing AUD cognitive abilities, and determine the effectiveness and practicality of developing Haber media and guidebooks in developing AUD cognitive abilities. This type of research includes R&D development research. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were four teachers in group B. The methods of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results show that level of need for Haber media development is very much needed in developing cognitive abilities in early childhood, the form of the Haber media development design in developing AUD cognitive abilities is designed in the order of preparation of the instrument guidebook for using Haber media development in developing cognitive skills AUD functional and operational basis, level the practicality and effectiveness of Haber media development in the development of AUD cognitive abilities got results from very effective teachers. |
| Improving Children Early Reading Skills Through Inductive Models of Pictorial Words in Kindergarten | Author : Sitti Marchumah*, Silvia Yuni Lestari, Miftakhul Rizki, Fatiha Rosyida | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Improving childrens early reading skills through pictorial inductive gamest at kindergarten Al-hiro Sidoarjo is the goal to be achieved in this study; this research uses a type of classroom action research; the approach used in this study is qualitative. The data collection methods used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis from the beginning to the end of the study. With a focus on childrens early reading skills, early reading skills are childrens ability to recognize letters, read combinations of letters in syllables, and read combinations of syllables into a simple word consisting of two patterned syllables. The letters taught consist of consonants and vowels comprised of a, i, u, e, and o. The teaching of syllables introduced in the k-v-k-v pattern (consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel) is formed from the letters a, b, d, e, i, k, l, m, o, p, s, t, and u. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that to improve childrens early reading skills through picture word inductive games, the teacher must at least do it based on the standards set. The increase in success can be seen in indicators 1) letter recognition, 2) syllable recognition, and 3) combining syllables into simple words. This increase can be seen in the rise in early reading ability in group B of the action research class at Al Izhar Kindergarten Makassar. This increase can be seen from the average learning outcomes assessment category obtained by children in the first cycle, the average ability is in the starting to develop sort, and the second cycle increases in the developing category as expected (BSH). 15 students are in the nascent category according to expectations. the expectation of the children being observed) the students can enter the excellent type. |
| Improving Childrens Fine Motor Skills through Meronce Activities in Kindergarten | Author : Sulemi*, Vivid Dratis R., Dwi Agusti S., Mujiatiningsih | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study aimed to determine the improvement of fine motor skills through Meronce Activities in Aisyiyah Mamajang Kindergarten, Makassar City. The research conducted in this research is a collaborative participation class action. At the same time, the population in this study is group B Aisyiyah Mamajang Kindergarten Makassar City, and the sample in this study amounted to 15 students. Data were collected using observation sheets. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The survey results after the action were carried out in Cycle I; as many as six children, or 40% of the 15 children, received the criteria for developing according to expectations in the aspect of students speed in carrying out Meronce activities. Regarding accuracy, four children obtained the category of developing as expected, or 27%. After taking action in Cycle II, there was an increase from 15 students who received the criteria for designing according to expectations, six people in the speed aspect, and nine children in the category of developing very well in the speed aspect or 100%. For the accuracy aspect, seven students got the developing as expected, and eight children got the developing very well or 100%. In Cycle II, the child has reached the indicator of success, so the research is stopped. |
